Youth Day

Friday, August 5th, 2010 – Youth Day

Youth Day is held at the Boyne Valley Township Fire Hall on Railroad Street.

Registration 10:00-10:30 a.m.

Games begin 10:30 a.m. and end at Noon

Games • Refreshments • Pony Rides • Crafts

Ages to 10 years ~ Don’t Forget Sunscreen!

Schedule of Events

8:00 a.m. – 3-on-3 Shootout

10:00 a.m. – Polka Tent Opens Music begins at Noon

10:30 a.m. – Youth Day Games begin and end at Noon

11:00 a.m. – Hudson Township Auxiliary Bingo Opens. Bingo closes at 11:00 p.m.

11:00 a.m. – Concessions and Arnold Amusement opens

12:00 p.m. -  Steve Drzewicki Band plays in Polka Tent until 4:00 p.m.

1:00 p.m. – Old-time Threshing and Steam Engine Show

4:00 p.m. -  Harmony Kings play in the Polka Tent until 5:00 p.m.

4:30 p.m. – Youth Bike Parade begins and ends at the corner of Maple Street and Railroad Street traveling down Railroad Street through polka tent. Begin decorating bicycles at 3:30 p.m. at the corner of Maple Street and Railroad Street.

5:00 p.m. – Polka tent closes for ½ hour for clean up.

5:30 p.m. – Polka Tent re-opens featuring Polish Memories in Polka Tent until 1:00 a.m.

6:00 p.m. – Horse Pull located on east end of Church Street. Beer, food, and pop will be sold at pull. No carry-ons permitted. $5 for Adults and children 6 and up. 5 and under Free.

Dusk – Family movie night held at the Boyne Valley Township Fire Hall

Polish Food

Polish food served in the Polka Tent and the Class Booths outside.

Polka Tent Hours

Thursday: 6:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.
Friday & Saturday: 10:00 a.m.-1:00 a.m.
Sunday: 12 Noon-11:00 p.m.

There is a cover charge to enter the Polka Tent after 6:00 p.m. on Thursday and after 5:30 p.m. on Friday, Saturday & Sunday.

You must 21 to enter the tent after 5:30 p.m. Bring valid ID.

Tent Passes:

  • Nightly $6.00
  • 4 Day Pass – $20.00
  • 3 Day Pass (Friday thru Sunday) – $15.00

Ride all the rides you want to ride with an ARM BAND!

Arm bands are available throughout the weekend.

Lost and Found is located at the information booth.
